Up to 5,000 workers or skilled workers are needed in New Zealand, according to the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).
New Zealanders are in-demand for carpenters, masons, farm workers, scaffolders and other construction related workers.
New Zealand job orders:
Farm worker 427
Fitter tire / tech 397
Pipe fitter / worker 309
Machine operator 226
Auto tech 100
Also, the salary offer is not a joke for the above mentioned jobs.
The carpenter for example, can earn 2,400 New Zealand dollars or equivalent of P89,000.
Laborers, machine operators, masons and drivers, at 3,520 New Zealand dollars, have a salary of P131,000.
According to the POEA, rehabilitation in New Zealand has continued since the earthquake hit in 2011.
But before applying, some recruitment agencies are looking at applicants. It is important that the applicant has at least three years experience abroad because of this proof that he is accustomed to using modern equipment.
According to the Philippine Association of Service Exporters Incorporated (PASEI), they are calling each applicant to the applicant due to the strict requirement of the experience.
PASEI added that the application process for New Zealand work is up to three months.
But the beauty here, there is no placement fee and can apply to bring the whole family after one year working there.
