Ministry of Interior meet to consider alternative voucher options to speed up process The UAE's Ministry of Interior (MoI) is studying a proposal to do away with residence visa stamping on passports of expatriates. Currently, all UAE residents are required to stamp their passports with the residence visa. This year's Eid Al Adha is likely to fall on Friday, September 1, 2017. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday declared a 16-day holiday for the festival of Eid Al Adha. The holiday period will begin on the end of Thursday, Dhu Al Hijjah 2, 1438. Work will resume on Dhu Al Hijjah 19, 1438.
